Literacy for Learning, Living, and Leading (L4GA)

The CEISMC Educational Research and Evaluation Group serves as external evaluators for the Literacy for Learning, Living, and Leading (L4GA) program, using a systems approach to examine the ways in which school districts’ partnerships with community organizations ultimately impact student literacy outcomes.

The L4GA Program is a 7-year project serving 58 school districts throughout Georgia. Guided by a systems approach to evaluation, the team uses social network analysis, document analysis, and focus group data to explore and assess the impacts of collaboration between school districts and community organizations on student literacy outcomes. CEISMC was awarded $800,000 from the GA Department of Education to serve as external evaluators on this grant.
