NSF Science and Technology Centers (STCs) Evaluation

NSF STCs integrative partnership program supports innovative, sophisticated, and potentially transformative research and education projects that require large-scale, long-term awards. STCs conduct research through partnerships among academic institutions, national laboratories, industrial organizations, and other public/private entities, and via international collaborations, as appropriate. Dr. Lizanne DeStefano leads the evaluation of numerous STCs by utilizing values-engaged, educative (VEE) approach (Greene, DeStefano, Hall, & Burgon, 2006).

Current STC evaluations include:

Cell Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT)

The Center for Sustainable Nano Technology (CSN)

Center for Engineering MechanoBiology (CEMB)

Center for Brains, Minds, and Machines (CBMM)

eXtreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE)

Past STC evaluations include:

Center for Emergent Behaviors of Integrated Cellular Systems (EBICS)
